Welcome to our site! The Amherst Miners is a parent run youth baseball organization consisting of 9u, 10u, 13u, and 14u teams playing primarily in the Cuyahoga Valley Baseball Association (CVBA) based in the Amherst, OH community.
Our organization started in 2012 with the mission of creating an environment to teach our boys teamwork, passion, and a little competition through the great sport of baseball.  The 'Miners' name is a tribute to the rich sandstone and mining history in our community that is largely responsible for early local development.

Our teams participate in both in the CVBA season as well as other local tournaments and our season starts in February with games spaning late April to late July.  We cultivate a culture of active parent involvement and it remains paramount for our organization that we not just teach our boys how to win baseball games but we do so in a way that instills the characteristics and integrity necessary to become upstanding young men.

All home games for 9u, 10u, and 13u teams will be played at the Amherst Township Park.
